The Perfecta Gauge is a high performance X-ray thickness gauge that features the industry's first open architecture. Designed on a PLC platform, its combination of advanced technologies make Perfecta gauges accurate, versatile and robust; they consistently outperform most other gauges on the market. Wherever possible, it has been built with broadly available hardware and software components, including off-the-shelf PLC, PC, networking protocols and software. This reduces both initial costs as well as drastically cutting maintenance costs. The Perfecta Gauge is intended for use as a control gauge for Rolling Mill and Process Line applications and is suitable for measuring the thickness of a variety of metallic and non-metallic materials. The Perfecta Gauge is available in Centerline, Scanning, and Profile configurations.

High reliability / performances ratio with Perfecta


Response time
The response time is a measure of the time lag between the actual change in a measured thickness and the corresponding change in the gauge's voltage output (AGC output). Typically this is measured at a baseline thickness of 0. 100" of steel. For the Perfecta, the response is adjustable to less than 10 milliseconds, offering excellent production control.

Accuracy
The accuracy of the gauge is within +/- 0.10% of the set thickness of the precision master on which the gauge has been standardized.
